Front-end developer

Open Platform is seeking an experienced Front-End Web Developer to join our expanding Edinburgh team. You will have at least 3-4 years commercial experience in front-end web development and be passionate about keeping abreast of current and future development trends. You will have good team working and communication skills and will have a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment helping to deliver outstanding websites and tools to the Financial, Aerospace & Defence sector.

Key skills:

• Complete understanding of HTML & CSS
• Knowledge of responsive design through media queries.
• Javascript & JqueryUI
• Excellent communication and team skills.
• Understand limitations of current and legacy browsers. Ability to debug browser issues using Web Inspector / Developer Tools.

Desirable skills :

• Knowledge of ASP.NET Web Forms / MVC c#
• Visual Studio 2008/2010
• Dojo
• Understanding of OOP
• Mobile web development

In return you will be paid a competitive salary of £30-33k dependant on experience.

C# .NET Web Developer

Open Platform is seeking a talented and motivated web developer to join our expanding Edinburgh team.

You will have 2-3 years commercial experience in web application development and be passionate about keeping abreast of current and future development trends.

You will have good team working and communication skills and will have a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment helping to deliver outstanding enterprise web applications for the Oil & Gas, Financial and Aerospace sector.

Key responsibilities for this role involve design, development and product release. You will be expected to provide input to any technical decisions and contribute during project meetings.

• Microsoft Visual Studio .Net 2008 / 2010 / Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5/4.0
• C# Web Forms
• SQL Server 2005/2008

• JavaScript
• Excellent communication and team skills.
